O great Martyr and valiant warrior of Christ, Mercury, who didst bear witness to Christ and His Church through thy sufferings, blood, and death, and for this hast received from Him the crown of life! Now, offering unto thee hymns of praise, we humbly bow before thee and fervently beseech thee: Be an unceasing intercessor before God for our souls. Implore the Lord to preserve His Holy Church and all her children in unity of love and oneness of mind; grant that peace and tranquility may be established among the people who live in our homeland; that all may know that Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that all who labor and are heavy laden may come unto Him and find rest. O great servant of God! Grant us steadfastness in our faith, and bestow upon us gracious help, that we may live a peaceful, quiet, and God-pleasing life in this age, and that together with thee we may worthily glorify on this day the Most Holy Trinity, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, unto ages of ages.
