Holy Baptism
Holy Baptism is the mystery through which a person is united with Christ and becomes a member of the Church. Through immersion in water in the name of the Holy Trinity, one is cleansed from sin and reborn to new life in Christ.
Holy Chrismation
Holy Chrismation is the mystery through which the newly baptized receives the gift of the Holy Spirit. Through anointing with holy chrism, the believer is sealed with the grace of the Holy Spirit and strengthened in faith.
Holy Confession
Holy Confession is the mystery through which a believer repents of sins and receives forgiveness from God through the prayer and guidance of the priest, restoring communion with God and the Church.
Holy Matrimony
Holy Matrimony is the mystery in which a man and a woman are united in Christ, blessed by the Church to live together in love, faith, and mutual devotion, reflecting the unity between Christ and His Church.
Holy Eucharist
The Holy Eucharist is the central mystery of the Church, in which the faithful receive the true Body and Blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sins and life eternal.
Holy Orders
Holy Orders is the mystery through which men are ordained to serve the Church as deacons, priests, or bishops, receiving the grace to shepherd God’s people and faithfully proclaim the Gospel.
Holy Unction (Anointing of the Sick)
Holy Unction is the mystery through which the faithful receive healing of soul and body through the anointing with holy oil, accompanied by the prayers of the Church, for the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening in illness.
